Funding for public education in Michigan has been declining for many years. The Ann Arbor Public Schools have cut $14 million from their budget over the past three years. In this climate it is difficult to provide opportunities for innovation and exploration of new programs that benefit students and are based on 21st century technology. The Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation, in a small way, can provide funding for innovative opportunities.

Our Mission

The Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation (AAPSEF) is an independent, community based, non-profit organization committed to helping all Ann Arbor Public Schools students achieve their highest potential by providing community support for innovative and excellent educational opportunities which cannot be funded through the core budget.
